Liz Britten Hendrix grew up on the East coast loving horses and art. Following her passion for Dressage she became a successful horse trainer and competitor for 20 years.
Several years ago illness forced her to reevaluate her life’s direction. After developing a facial neuralgia that makes it painful to be outside for extended periods of time, she was unable to continue a full time career with horses.
Not willing to just sit around, she began sketching and writing and the idea for Angel and Evie was born.
Liz lives in Livermore, California with her husband, daughter, dogs, chickens, pet rats, a lizard and, of course, a horse.
